Dr. Robert A. Herrin D.D.S., M.D.

Originally from Gastonia, North Carolina, Dr. Robert Herrin earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and a D.D.S. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. After completing a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan, he returned to the U.N.C. School of Medicine to earn his M.D. In private practice since 1980, Dr. Herrin has taught courses at Carolina’s Medical Center and Central Piedmont Community College, and is a past chief of the Oral Surgery Department at C.M.C. and Presbyterian Hospital. He has authored multiple scientific articles and six books, one relating to the medical field and five works of fiction, three of which have been published and are available on Amazon.com (two in print and three for Kindle eReader.) Dr. Herrin has five daughters, Robin, Andy, Elizabeth, Grayson and Lauren and resides in Charlotte with his lovely wife Cindy.
